This program will highlight necessary steps to ensure successful reimbursement through medical / dental insurance carriers as well as explore coding concepts within the medical realm. Reimbursement is dependent on correct completion of medical coding as well as diagnosis code selection. A review of insurance authorizations techniques will be completed which are necessary and require skill to complete. Finally, the program will also review the impact radiology interpretations can have on reimbursement and the documentation guidelines that are required.
